Whats In A Name?

Ryan explains the change from Snubrocket to Fifth Avenue

"Snubrocket was a word gav came up with that describes the band as something that would go against the norm of the music industry and all the dickhead big wig managers that no nothing about music, (Basically we would snub them) and the rocket part was what we hope one day we will achieve.

So snubrocket in a sentence is, A band that will follow its own path regardless of what people think and rocket its way to the top..... How do you like that.

OK, now for the name change, That all came about due to the fact that you would tell someone what your band name was and they would say what!!!!
Snotrocket, Snubwho...., snubrockets, Snogrockets.... and all crappy names like this.

So we decided that we would go for a name that is a bit more commercial and recognisable. when someone asks now what the band name is, theres no confusion, and its easy to remember. As for where it came from, welll that the mystic powers of gavs mind."
